After tying the knot
last week, the Queen is showing off the diamond wedding ring from her
new husband. Kenneth Petty commissioned Rafaello and Company to make the
custom rings, which took several months to design. Nicki’s custom rock
features a 17-carat center with VVS2-clarity diamonds, while Petty’s
band features marquee-shaped diamonds with the words “Ken & Barbie”
written on the inside of the ring.
“Congrats to the King and Queen,” the jeweler wrote on Instagram. “We
wish you both lots of love and happiness together. Thank you for
trusting us with designing and making these very special pieces for you
both.”
According to TMZ, Petty handled the design, delivery, and paid for the rings on his own. Both rings are valued at $1.1 million.
The rings arrived in a customized jewelry box that plays a photo
slideshow of the couple accompanied by Nicki’s song “Come See About Me.”
