Jigawa:Seven People killed By Gas Explossion

No fewer than seven person's have lost their lives and two others sustain injuries due to gas explosion jigawa.confirming the incident, the state Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Malam Muhammad Gudado, in a statement in Dutse, said the explosion happened around 12:23pm on Sunday.

“Welding gas exploded in Ruba Village market, Kafinhausa Local Government, yesterday around 12:30pm, killing seven people and injuring two,” Gidado said.
The NSCDC noted that as a result of the explosion, the welder’s two legs were seriously damaged.
Gudado stated that investigation into the explosion is on-going.
He said operatives of NSCDC in the area have handed over the corpses of the deceased to their various families for burial, adding that those injured have been taken to hospital for medical treatment.
The Commandant urged people to exercise caution when using fire.
