A fake Instagram page thet shared some cute photos of a model by the name Sarah Benede last week, has been removed. Apparently
the lady opened the account to promote herself not minding if it
affects Jim’s image. As we speak, the account has been removed and Jim
Iyke has officially opened an account.
INSTAGRAM has taken down the fake account whose owner was impersonating the Nigerian film star Jim Iyke and duping the public. In an email to the Nollywood star dated today 22 July, an official of Intagram’s Community Operations confirmed the disabling of the handle (@JimIykeOfficial) and apologized to him for the unpleasant experience saying: “Safety is important to us.”
Jim Iyke whose real Instagram handle wasn’t fully active and had no photos posted is not @jimiykeofficial but @jim.iyke. But now the actor and reality TV star has decided to become active. The latest scam came to light after an acquaintance of the Nigerian star based in Holland was swindled of the sum of $350 under the pretext that Iyke was raising funds for charity.
