A FALLEN HERO (Lance corporal John Mathew Sabo a. k. a Marrow)

 

He's name is Lance corporal  John Mathew Sabo,he hail from plateau state, he is tarok by tribe.he was born 04/04/1990 he Attended Government Secondary School Masaka Nasarawa State Karu Local Government and graduated in 2011.he joined the Nigerian military in 2013.after he's successful  passing out from training. he was deployed to the north east.during his service to his nation, he has escaped two serious attacks in the hands of Boko Haram that would have normally  claimed his life.on 07/03/2020 he got married to the love of his life.

The wedding ceremony was attended  by friends,family and colleagues in the military.before his marriage,he has a daughter with a Tiv lady which according to his family members says that the lady is now asking for 1million naira  before she can  release the baby to them.

According to report he mate he's Waterloo on the 29/10/2020 in maiduguri when they were ambushed and killed by Boko Haram while they were out on patrol.

Shortly after the incident he's colleagues who arrived at the scene as backup were in tears as they saw him lying dead on the ground.that is because  He's very famous in his barrack and amongst he's colleagues.it was like a dream to them, imediately some of them brought out their phones and started calling their colleagues  from other units to break the sad news.imediately the news hit his friends and families at home.some fainted while some couldn't control their tears. It was also in the midst of that some  took to facebook to pay him his last respect and to also tell the world how much of a hero he was.even his secondary school mates of 2011  also mourn and cried for him.below are some of the screen shots from friends and colleagues on facebook. 

Rest in peace soldier, your gallantry and heroism will never be forgotten.through out generations your story will be told.for you came,you saw and you concard.you surely have written your name in gold in the sands of time and every book of history.good night my friend,my hero and my brother.we the class of 2011 of Government Secondary School Masaka will surely miss you.
