Jubilation in Akure as court declares jegede the PDP candidate

All the supporters of Mr. Eyitayo Jegede, the Peoples Democratic Candidate for the Saturday governorship election in Ondo stormed  the popular Oba Adesida and Oyemekun Roads in Akure, jubilating and awaiting the man to return to the state capital.

But the secretariat of the Ali Modu-Sheriff faction wore a pensive look.
Both  factional state chairmen , Biyi Poroye and Clement Faboyede differ on the next steps .
The state however remains peaceful amid the Independent National Electoral Commission's decision to proceed with the poll on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Mr. Jimoh Ibrahim says he is now relying on the Supreme Court to get justice.
He spoke through a statement released soon after the judgment of the court of appeal which ordered his remove as the candidate of the PDP.
Ibrahim said that he has nothing to worry since the apex court is still sitting on the matter.
He expressed confidence that victory for the PDP on Saturday, will amount to him being governor of Ondo State.
