Obafemi Martin's Move To China Not Yet Complete

 
Seattle Sounders general manager, Garth Lagerwey, has revealed that move to China has not been completed yet.
He however confirmed that the 31-year-old was not with the MLS club, at their training camp in Walnut, California and was looking to finalise the deal.

“It could take a while to have that resolved,” Lagerwey said.
“And there’s really nothing we can add at this point.”
Lagerwey also added that Sounders were making their preparations without the Nigerian striker, but were prepared for the possibility of the transfer falling through.
“We’ll do what we need to do, we have contingency plans. If that third DP spot opens up, it gives us a lot more roster flexibility and the ability to implement our long-term vision for this team,” he continued.
“If it doesn’t go through, then we’ll have Obafemi Martins back and that’ll be a good thing, too.”
