The iranian authorities have freed Washington Post reporter Jason Rezaian in a prisoner swap deal, Iran's semi official Fars news agency reported, citing the prosecutors.

Rezaian, who was taken into custody in July 2014 and convicted on espionage charges last year, was one of four Iranian-American nationals held by Iran to be released under the deal.
Writing on Twitter, Washington Post national security reporter Ellen Nakashima said: "Jason Rezaian should be out of Iranian airspace in about 30 minutes."
The US will release seven Iranian nationals currently serving jail terms in the prisoner swap with Iran, Iran's official news agency IRNA also reported on Saturday.
"Prosecutor Abbas Jaafari told IRNA that four dual nationality Iranian-American prisoners, passing prison terms in Iran, will be exchanged with seven Iranian nationals languishing at the US jails," it reported.
It said the swap included a clause under which the US would no longer pursue the extradition of 14 Iranians for alleged involvement in purchasing arms in the US for supply to Iran.
According to Reuters, which quoted Iranian state media, the other three Iranian-Americans are: Saeed Abedini, Amir Hekmati and Nosratollah Khosravi.
The swap came as diplomats gathered in Vienna to announce the lifting of international sanctions and bring the country of 80 million people back to the global economic stage.
The International Atomic Energy Agency was expected to announce in Vienna that Tehran had complied with the requirements of a deal reached last year, under which it was to curb its nuclear programme in return for the lifting of sanctions imposed by the United States, United Nations and European Union.
