The Nigerian military has reportedly arrested five commanders who allegedly fled from a Boko Haram attack in Mubi, Adamawa State.
The commanders are currently being detained at the 23 Brigade headquarters in Yola, the state capital, according to Sahara Reporters.

The terrorists launched an attack on the army HQ on Wednesday, October 29 and were initially repelled by troops but the insurgents eventually won the battle and took control.
A military source told Punch that five commanders and one Lt. Col were arrested.
“Today (Sunday), the military authorities arrested five commanders around the Mubi axis of Adamawa State. The sixth is a Lt. Col. Some of those arrested were at Mararaba, Madagali, Michika and other locations. I think the military leaders are saying that the soldiers did not resist the Boko Haram when they invaded the place,” he said.
Defence officials are reportedly investigating the incident to ascertain the true reason why the commanders and their troops fled.
